Double Take - Glass Vase

When the hubby and I venture out to the flea market, I am always on the look out for antiqued glass. I really don’t have good luck at the flea market and usually just end up wallowing in disappointment while eating some funnel cake. So instead of being disappointed in not scoring any glass booty, this project from Design*Sponge has me making my own antiqued glass treasure with an ordinary glass vase.

Sparkle Headbands | Flax & Twine
I have a love/hate relationship with headbands. I love the way they look, I hate the headaches I get from wearing them. So I settle for the nice, softer headbands, but that means I also end up with something ugly. With a pretty coloured cotton thread and some sparkly trim I can take my blah comfortable headband to a oooh! comfortable headband!
